High Tech
Buildings designed for high tech clients typically involve heavy structures with large steel members, considerable bracing, moment frames and very large fillet and full penetration welds. The need for vibration free structures supporting very expensive and sensitive equipment drives the need for such solid designs.
High tech projects are typically very fast track with steel fabrication and erection beginning and continuing throughout the design phase and requires numerous RFI's, clarifications and correspondence being tracked.
